Balfour Beatty has been conditionally selected, in joint venture with Fluor Corporation, to deliver the Oak Hill Parkway infrastructure project on behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Balfour Beatty announces the promotion of Emily Kay, project executive to vice president in California. With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Emily’s new role will build on the company’s commitment to meeting the expanding needs of clients and partners in the high-growth California market.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) names Balfour Beatty’s Atlanta office, among Atlanta’s Top Workplaces of 2020 in the Small Company category. The annual survey and awards program honors the city’s leading employers and their commitment to making their workplace an enjoyable environment for employees. Balfour Beatty’s Atlanta office was among 65 small workplaces who were recognized in the metro area, employing less than 149 workers.

Balfour Beatty was contracted over $100 million by Kane Realty Corporation to construct the Walter Tower, a premier luxury residential tower and one of the tallest residential buildings in Raleigh, North Carolina.

This year, Balfour Beatty’s U.S. Buildings team announces its 20th anniversary of providing construction management services to Austin and Central Texas clients. This celebration marks two decades of service to one of the fastest-growing cities in America and the company’s role in delivering construction needs to the Texas economy.

In partnership with Bridges to Prosperity (B2P), a team of twenty dedicated Balfour Beatty employees completed the construction of two new footbridges in Rwanda in December 2019.
