Engineering News-Record (ENR) Southeast has honored Balfour Beatty with an Excellence in Safety Award for its Surf City Bridge Replacement project on behalf of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) in Surf City, N.C.

The Puget Sound Business Journal has honored Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company, among Washington's Best Workplaces in the Large Company category.

Balfour Beatty has been awarded a $167 million contract by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to construct the U.S. 70 Havelock Bypass.

Balfour Beatty has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Orlando Sentinel. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.

Balfour Beatty has been ranked the top interior/tenant improvements contractor in the Southeast by Engineering News-Record (ENR). The industry publication’s annual Top Contractors list ranks general contractors based on national, regional, and market sector-specific revenue.

Balfour Beatty has signed a $780 million construction agreement with Matthews Southwest to serve as design-build lead for the expansion of the Broward County Convention Center and new construction of an 800-room, four-diamond Omni Hotel.
