Balfour Beatty has been ranked the top interior/tenant improvements contractor in the Southeast by Engineering News-Record (ENR). The industry publication’s annual Top Contractors list ranks general contractors based on national, regional, and market sector-specific revenue.

Balfour Beatty has signed a $780 million construction agreement with Matthews Southwest to serve as design-build lead for the expansion of the Broward County Convention Center and new construction of an 800-room, four-diamond Omni Hotel.

The 13-story, mixed-use development is designed to maximize project density by leveraging an off-site manufacturing platform to construct the project’s entire tower structure.

The Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) has awarded Balfour Beatty its terminal expansion project at Jacksonville International Airport (JIA). To meet the airport’s surge in passenger traffic, including a 16 percent increase in 2018, the project includes construction of the new Concourse B that will add six gates.

Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, today announces it has been selected, in joint venture, to deliver the $1.7 billion (c. £1.3 billion) Interstate 635 LBJ East project, on behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation.

Balfour Beatty has completed construction and opened the 2.3-mile extension of the Denver Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) E, F, and R light rail lines.
