Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company, and its project known as International Software Developer Buildings 121 & 122 in Redmond, Wash., have been honored by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) with a National Award of Merit in the commercial/office category.

Ed Littleton, senior vice president of risk management for Balfour Beatty’s U.S. operations, has been honored by the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) with its Words of Wisdom Award at the IRMI Construction Risk Conference.

BPM Real Estate Group has selected Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company, to build its 1.1 million-square-foot, mixed-use Block 216 development in downtown Portland, Ore. The 35-story, high-rise tower will be anchored by a Ritz-Carlton hotel, bringing the luxury hospitality brand to Portland and Pacific Northwest for the first time.
