Balfour Beatty, in joint venture with Samet Corporation, is partnering to deliver the new Forsyth County Courthouse in Winston Salem, North Carolina. A groundbreaking event for the new courthouse took place in February to celebrate the construction of the newly modernized courthouse that will provide improved security, accessibility, and technologies to better serve Forsyth County citizens and judicial personnel.

Balfour Beatty celebrated the start of construction on the Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia’s new JA Colonial Group Discovery Center at Georgia Southern University’s (GSU) Armstrong Atlantic campus in Savannah, Georgia.

Balfour Beatty, in joint venture with Holt Brothers, is partnering with Healthcare Foundation of Wilson and the Wilson Family YMCA to create a Construction Academy afterschool program for middle school students, and to deliver a YMCA facility for the new Wilson Middle School After School (MSAS) programs.

Balfour Beatty has been awarded $42 million to deliver Morrison Yard, a new 10-story Class A office space located in downtown Charleston. KeithCorp and Origin Development Partners have selected Balfour Beatty to provide preconstruction and construction management services.

Balfour Beatty, who operates in the Northwest as Howard S Wright, announces the promotion of Portland-based executive, Troy Dickson, to president in the Northwest. Dickson will replace former Northwest president, Dan Peyovich, and will provide strategic oversight for the Oregon and Washington State offices. Additionally, he will work alongside the local leadership teams in both offices to help leverage collaboration, innovation and best practices.
