Balfour Beatty, in joint venture with Holt Brothers, is partnering with Healthcare Foundation of Wilson and the Wilson Family YMCA to create a Construction Academy afterschool program for middle school students, and to deliver a YMCA facility for the new Wilson Middle School After School (MSAS) programs.

Balfour Beatty has been awarded $42 million to deliver Morrison Yard, a new 10-story Class A office space located in downtown Charleston. KeithCorp and Origin Development Partners have selected Balfour Beatty to provide preconstruction and construction management services.

Balfour Beatty, who operates in the Northwest as Howard S Wright, announces the promotion of Portland-based executive, Troy Dickson, to president in the Northwest. Dickson will replace former Northwest president, Dan Peyovich, and will provide strategic oversight for the Oregon and Washington State offices. Additionally, he will work alongside the local leadership teams in both offices to help leverage collaboration, innovation and best practices.

Balfour Beatty has completed construction on River Landing Shops and Residences, a 2.5 million-square-foot, mixed-use development along the Miami River.

Balfour Beatty has been recognized by The Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), Carolinas Chapter with its Excellence in Construction (EIC) Eagle Award for Parker Poe law firm’s interior buildout project.

Balfour Beatty has been awarded $127 million for the delivery of Museum Place on behalf of JV MPDC, LLC, a joint venture comprised of Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group and Mitsui Fudosan American, Inc. The redevelopment project will renovate the historic Randall School creating a vibrant arts campus and new residential apartment building in Washington, DC.
