Balfour Beatty recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the Town of Cary’s new Downtown Cary Park at a local ceremony with citizens and community leaders of Cary, North Carolina. The ceremony marks the beginning of construction and development of the community-led project which is coming to life after a 20-year vision of the Town’s plans to revitalize and propel future economic growth in the heart of downtown Cary.

Balfour Beatty has started construction on NEWPORT RE’s (NEWPORT) $6.4 million Hotel Row project in Downtown Atlanta. Once complete, the adaptive reuse project will revive Atlanta’s original hotel district and offer retail, restaurant and creative office space for the growing community.

Balfour Beatty, as part of a joint venture with Fluor Corporation, recently broke ground on the Oak Hill Parkway infrastructure project in Austin, Texas. The design-build project was awarded to Balfour Beatty in April 2020 by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to reconstruct and widen seven miles of the US 290 and State Highway (SH) 71 in Travis County to improve long-term mobility, safety and reduce traffic in one of the most congested roadways in the state of Texas.

Balfour Beatty, as part of the LAX Integrated Express Solutions (LINXS Constructors) joint venture team, announces the successful placement of four steel trusses in the delivery of Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX) Automated People Mover (APM) project.
