Balfour Beatty announces the appointment of Sonya Roberts to vice president of Human Resources.

Balfour Beatty, as part of Green Line Extension (GLX) Constructors joint venture team, celebrates the grand opening of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Green Line Extension light-rail project’s Union Square line in Somerville.

Balfour Beatty ranks No. 2 on Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) 2022 Top Performers list, which lists commercial and industrial contractor members who build long-lasting high quality construction projects, based on work hours.

Balfour Beatty and JBG SMITH broke ground at 2000 and 2001 South Bell Street, a new 27-story, two-tower residential project in Arlington, Virginia. Once complete, the multifamily project will continue to grow and transform the National Landing area and meet the increased residential demand in the Crystal City community.
