As vice president and chief legal officer for the Mid-Atlantic operations, Jason is a strategic business partner to the leadership team, advising on legal matters and managing risk, transactions, and compliance. He has a passion for construction law and over 27 years of experience, including contract negotiation, project counseling, and dispute resolution. Jason began his legal career in private practice in Washington, D.C., relocated to the Philadelphia area where he served as general counsel for a large privately owned regional general contractor, then returned to private practice. He has represented general contractors, owners, developers, subcontractors, and sureties. Jason returned to the D.C. area to join Balfour Beatty in 2016. Jason received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School. He is licensed to practice in Virginia, D.C., Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Bob brings over 42 years of construction experience to his role as vice president of preconstruction. In this role, he manages a department of 20+ professionals, with responsibilities including estimating, purchasing, and small/disadvantaged business participation for the Mid-Atlantic operations. He works as a team member with the client, designer, and Balfour Beatty operations staff, from pursuit through preconstruction and project completion, and is constantly searching for cost-effective means to meet or exceed the client’s goals and set projects up for success. Bob joined Balfour Beatty in 1993 as a chief estimator and has contributed to numerous landmark projects over the years including Capitol Crossing and NPR’s new headquarters.

Alex more than 36 years of experience and a portfolio including many first-class Washington, D.C. office buildings such as the new National Science Foundation Headquarters, NPR Headquarters, Station Place – Building 3, and 1700 New York Avenue. Alex joined Balfour Beatty in 1998 as a project manager and has expanded his role with increasing responsibility over the years. In 2015, Alex was promoted to vice president of operations for the company’s Mid-Atlantic team, providing executive leadership on projects like the 2100 Penn office building. Consistently a top performer, Alex achieves operational excellence at the highest level. He is a champion for Balfour Beatty’s Latin@ employee affinity group Somos, embodies Balfour Beatty Spirit!, and is passionate about supporting the growth of young professionals in the company.

Dan Novack is a Balfour Beatty lifer who started his career with the company more than 20 years ago. As president of Buildings operations in the Mid-Atlantic, he provides strategic oversight for construction operations in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, and works with teams to sustain market growth in the healthcare, federal and education sectors.

Dan is known for his well-rounded leadership experience that includes purchasing, preconstruction, small business development, community and client relations, and operations expertise. He is also a passionate advocate of Balfour Beatty’s people-first culture embedment which embraces the essence of our teams’ Relentless Ally commitment to delivering project excellence and enhancing communities.

Novack is a graduate of Alfred State College in New York where he earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management and furthered his learning with an Master's of Business Administration from George Mason University in 2010. He is actively involved in many industry organizations and recently served on the Board of Directors for ABC Metro Washington for five years.

Rebecca has been with Balfour Beatty for her entire 28-year career and has established herself as a key leader in the success of multiple large and complex local projects. Most notably, she is currently overseeing the success of the District Wharf Phase 2 garage and office buildings, led the Capitol Crossing mega-project that created three new city blocks built above an interstate highway in the District, and previously managed the first phase of the high profile U.S. Capitol Visitor Center. Rebecca has a reputation for technical excellence, client service, and an ability to manage highly complex projects.

Bevan has spent his entire 24-year career with Balfour Beatty and currently serves as vice president in the Mid-Atlantic for public and alternative delivery projects in addition to providing leadership to our marketing, construction technology and training teams. Bevan has served in various operations roles for large and unique construction projects including the NIH Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center, Air Force Memorial, Utah Data Center and East Campus Building #4. Bevan also spent seven years in a national operations role cultivating operational excellence, lean thinking and best practices with teams across the country. Bevan is a regular industry speaker and a member of the board of directors for the Lean Construction Institute; he was honored to receive its Chairman’s Award in 2017.

In his role as vice president of business development, George leverages an expansive network and almost four decades of Washington D.C.-area experience and knowledge. He also oversees the success of the Mid-Atlantic’s special projects group, focusing on the unique characteristics of projects ranging from $100,000 to $20M, as well as some of the team's large key opportunities. He is passionate about creating and strengthening relationships with clients and design professionals, staying engaged throughout a project’s life cycle, and ensuring client satisfaction. Prior to joining Balfour Beatty, George served in senior management positions at other prominent construction firms.

Sean has over 20 years of construction industry experience with Balfour Beatty where he has contributed to some of the Mid-Atlantic team’s premier projects. He rose through the ranks on projects including 220 Twentieth Street, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, The Bartlett, and The Foundry to his current role as vice president of operations, overseeing the success of multiple large Mid-Atlantic projects, including the 982,000-square-foot mixed-use Carlyle Crossing. Sean has demonstrated an innate ability to lead, solve problems quickly and build solid relationships with clients. He was the recipient of Balfour Beatty’s 2016 Mid-Atlantic Relentless Ally Award in recognition of his dedication to client service and operational excellence.

As vice president of human resources, Anna-Lisa leverages her 20+ years of human resources experience, providing multifaceted insight to a variety of national human resources programs, policies, and practices that enhance the employee experience, promote company culture, and help grow the organization. She is a champion for attracting and retaining the finest people in the industry through robust intern programming, recruiting, employee engagement, and recognition; promoting an inclusive environment where everyone can excel; and is a leader of an employee affinity group, Connecting Women's Mid-Atlantic chapter. Anna-Lisa is an active member of ABC Metro Washington’s HR Peer Group, SHRM, CREW Northern Virginia, and WBC. Anna-Lisa previously served as director of human resources for another large construction company.

As a project executive and 20-year Balfour Beatty veteran, Mike has unparalleled experience managing the day-to-day flow of multiple projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring successful project completion. His diverse portfolio of work spanning multi-family, education, office, hospitality, government, entertainment, corrections and professional sports includes SeaWorld's Sesame Street, Orlando Magic Continuing Works and multiple projects for Osceola County.

Amy's nearly 25-year career with Balfour Beatty has led her to be an instrumental operations leader, managing large teams and delivering many high-profile projects in Central Florida. With a diverse project portfolio that includes hospitality, entertainment, multi-family and senior living facilities, she is a passionate advocate for her clients. As vice president of operations, Amy provides executive leadership and support to Balfour Beatty's project teams in Central Florida focused on work-winning and operations excellence. Amy also leads Florida's chapter of Balfour Beatty's Connecting Women affinity group which encourages the advancement of women in construction by providing opportunities for mentorship and career development.

As a preconstruction director, Mac bridges preconstruction planning and flawless execution, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration between design and construction teams, optimizing project timelines and value-driven cost savings. He manages all aspects of preconstruction, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment, ensuring alignment with client goals and project vision. His role is pivotal in shaping project strategies from early conceptual stages through delivery.

A passionate and visionary leader, Brian has overseen an impressive portfolio exceeding $2.5 billion in local projects. He is dedicated to formulating and executing strategic initiatives that uphold operational excellence, aligning seamlessly with our clients' aspirations. As a relentless ally for our clients, Brian draws from a wealth of experience leading harmonized teams for aviation, education, hospitality and theme park attractions projects across Florida. Since joining Balfour Beatty in 1999, Brian has been instrumental in ensuring project success by providing oversight in all phases including procurement, execution and completion.

As business development director, Willis works with leadership to establish and nurture relationships with our clients and partners across the Central Florida region. He supports strategic planning, client development and project pursuits and has been instrumental in the company’s success as one of the top general contractors in Orlando. As a community ambassador, Willis serves on the Board of Trustees for the Academy of Construction Technologies (ACT),  Board of Directors for the Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP) and the Orlando Economic Partnership’s Investor Relations Committee.

As vice president of operations, Neal provides executive leadership and operational support to Balfour Beatty project teams in Central Florida and Tampa Bay. With a career spanning 25 years at Balfour Beatty, Neal excels at managing complex, multi-phased projects from preconstruction through turnover. Neal's reputation as a builder is grounded in his ability to drive out waste and inefficiency in the project life-cycle providing incredible value to his clients. Some of his most notable projects include Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando, Hyatt Regency Orlando, Lake Nona Pixon Apartments and University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

As chief estimator in the South Florida office, Warren has 35+ years of experience. He prepares estimates at all phases of design: schematic, design development and construction documents. Constructability reviews and assistance early in the design phase maximizes project value. Warren’s subcontractor relationships are deep and his vast knowledge has earned him the respect of owners and architects alike.

Janice is responsible for the accounting and budgetary oversight of Balfour Beatty's Florida business operations. Throughout her career, she has worked in several construction disciplines and brings a breadth of industry knowledge with experience in development, residential, road building and commercial construction. Janice champions the personal and professional growth of the financial profession across the industry through her long-time membership of CFMA. A Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional, Janice continues to set the standard of excellence in her role with Balfour Beatty.

A 35-year construction veteran, Vince's impressive project portfolio includes a diverse array of projects across the multifamily, retail, education and public use market sectors. Vince assumes a key role as vice president of operations, providing executive leadership and support of Balfour Beatty's commercial operations in South Florida. Driven by client satisfaction, Vince is known for his ability to cultivate collaboration throughout all phases of the project life-cycle and promote Balfour Beatty's people-first culture amongst his project teams. He has worked on some of Balfour Beatty's most significant projects in Florida such as Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Solitair Brickell Apartments and most recently, the award-winning Icon Marina Village.

As executive vice president and business unit leader, John creates and leads strategies in core markets and niche projects offering value-driven delivery strategies throughout the state. His many responsibilities include leading and supporting over 200 management employees through all stages of the project lifecycle – including client development, marketing, BIM services, pre-construction, and operations. An industry veteran, John brings more than two decades of experience exclusively at Balfour Beatty.
