CHARLESTON, SC – Balfour Beatty has successfully completed construction for The Jasper, a new luxury 12-story mixed-use building located in Charleston’s iconic Harleston Village neighborhood. The new landmark property is set to become the city’s newest business center featuring office space, luxury rental homes, and premier dining and retail options with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Ashley and Cooper rivers, the Charleston Harbor, and the historic peninsula. Balfour Beatty was named general contractor for The Jasper in 2018 by The Beach Company, a 75-year-old real estate developer headquartered in Charleston.

Located in the historic district, The Jasper is positioned on more than four acres at 310 Broad Street. The property features 75,000 square feet of AAA office space with unparallel amenities including onsite dining and shopping, a fitness center, and ample parking. The building also accommodates 219 luxury apartments, where residents can enjoy first-rate amenities including the largest elevated pool in Charleston, a rooftop garden, The Jasper Athletic Club and lounge for residents, and an outdoor dining/cooking area.

Additionally, the building’s first floor consists of 25,000 square feet of retail space with a 534-car enclosed parking garage. Retail offerings include shopping, services, and dining experiences with outdoor seating, walkways, and parks to create a distinct gathering space for residents, business professionals, and guests.

Earlier this year, The Beach Company relocated its corporate headquarters to The Jasper and occupies the fifth and sixth floors of the property’s office building. The residential building is in active lease-up with limited space remaining.
