RALEIGH, NC – Balfour Beatty was contracted over $100 million by Kane Realty Corporation to construct the Walter Tower, a premier luxury residential tower and one of the tallest residential buildings in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

The 35-story Walter Tower features 376 luxury apartments offering a variety of living options and 21 penthouse residences in a mixed-use environment. The property will boast 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities for residents, including a sixth-floor pool courtyard and wellness center, a rooftop courtyard, and a club room. 

Prominently located in the Park District of North Hills, the 535,000-square-foot, the mixed-used tower will greet residents and visitors with a grand lobby and 6,500 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The residential tower is the tallest building on I-440 and sits at the corner of Six Forks Road and Front at North Hills Street. 

Construction is underway and the Balfour Beatty team will use the latest technologies and lean construction methods to efficiently deliver the Kane Realty Corporation Walter Tower with architect Smallwood of Atlanta, GA. Work is expected to be completed in 2022.
