Balfour Beatty Announces Promotions in Florida

ORLANDO, FORT LAUDERDALE & JACKSONVILLE, F.L. – Balfour Beatty’s Florida operations announces the promotions of Amy Kennedy to vice president in Central Florida, Vince Hull to vice president in South Florida and Jonathan Pearch to vice president in South Florida. In their new roles as vice president, they will lead teams in winning work, oversee strategic accounts and manage, develop and support best-in-class operations talent in their respective geographies.
Additionally, Janice Lowery has been promoted to vice president, controller, where she will be responsible the accounting and budgetary oversight of Balfour Beatty's Florida business operations.
Amy Kennedy started her career with Balfour Beatty and during her tenure she managed many of the company’s most prolific and sensitive projects. With nearly 25 years of experience in the industry, Amy has assisted in the ongoing development of a diverse portfolio in Central Florida which includes hospitality, entertainment, multi-family and senior living facilities where she has excelled at successfully managing intricate, multi-phased projects from preconstruction through turnover. She is a passionate advocate for every client she serves and consistently delivers quality, profitable, safe and timely projects, and is as equally as dedicated to her project teams where she provides people-first leadership through career development and mentorship.
Vince Hull is a 35-year construction veteran with experience in the delivery of a diverse array of projects across the multifamily, retail, education, hospitality and public market sector. Driven by client satisfaction, Vince is known for his ability to cultivate collaboration throughout all phases of the project and promote Balfour Beatty's people-first culture amongst his teams. He has worked on some of Balfour Beatty's most significant projects in Florida during his 26-year tenure at the company such as Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Solitair Brickell Apartments.
Jonathan Pearch started his career as an intern at Balfour Beatty and has held various operational roles at the company for over 15 years. With experience in leading teams through project deliveries within the higher education, sports, municipal, hospitality and entertainment market sectors, Jonathan thrives on helping clients navigate complex projects through trust and credibility. Notable projects that he has been a part of include the successful deliveries of the Florida Atlantic University Stadium, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and the Alfond Inn Expansion and Renovation.
Throughout her career, Janice Lowery has worked in several construction disciplines and brings a breadth of industry knowledge with experience in development, residential, road building and commercial construction. She has been a consistent go-to partner across the company’s Florida operations, helping to ensure the success of project teams, clients and trade partners. Janice is a long-time member of CFMA and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional.
