The Dennis P. Gallon Campus is home to the college’s health sciences and technology curriculum and features a three-story, 50,000-square-foot building on a 75-acre site. The landmark building at the campus location features state-of-the-art simulation and medical technology labs classrooms, independent study spaces, common areas, administrative office, a lecture hall and café. Site development included retention ponds, surface parking, lighting and landscaping.
With sustainability as one of the highest priorities for Palm Beach State College, this building was built to International Green Construction Code, which ensures high efficiency and reduced waste. Additional sustainable solutions were used to reduce the day-to-day cost of operations, including insulated impact resistant glazing, low VOC recycled wood siding, metal wall and roof cladding and exterior shades and screens.
