      As leader of the business acquisition team in Florida, Bruce has nearly 30 years of industry experience and is responsible for estimating, preconstruction and marketing. His previous contributions as head of Florida’s estimating department, in addition to providing oversight for both the estimating and preconstruction teams, have been an invaluable asset.

    • Mike Carlin

      Senior Vice President, Operations

      Mike Carlin began his career with Balfour Beatty as an intern before joining full-time in 1990. Mike’s career experience while at Balfour Beatty has included work as an estimator, project engineer, assistant project manager, project manager, senior project manager and superintendent. Currently, he is senior vice president of operations for the company in Florida.

    • Earnest DeLoach Jr.

      Vice President, Legal
      Relentless Ally since 2018

      As vice president, legal, Earnest is responsible for all legal affairs for the Florida operations including contracting matters and litigation management, and serves as the division's compliance officer. As a member of the Florida leadership team, Earnest functions as a strategic business partner in supporting Florida operations.

    • Chris Diaz

      Vice President, Safety Health and Environmental

      In his role, Chris Diaz has overseen safety for many projects in theming, medical, residential, commercial, corrections, hospitality, education, heavy industrial, fuel distribution and co-generation power plants. He is a member of the Common Ground Alliance and leading an Industry-wide safety orientation and certificate program.

    • Neal Ernest

      Operations Director

      As operations director, Neal oversees the construction management of numerous hospitality, multi-family, education and entertainment projects located throughout Central Florida. A 20-year industry veteran, Neal excels at managing complex, multi-million dollar projects from preconstruction to turnover. Some of his most notable work includes Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

    • John Harris

      Senior Vice President, Business Unit Leader

      As senior vice president and business unit leader, John creates and leads strategies in core markets and niche projects offering value-driven delivery strategies throughout the state. His many responsibilities include leading and supporting over 200-management employees through all stages of the project lifecycle – including client development, marketing, BIM services, pre-construction, and operations.

    • Mac Hoenicke

      As a project executive in Florida, Mac is responsible for multi-family business development, client retention, preconstruction services, and operations coordination throughout the state. His experience includes project oversight, from preconstruction through delivery, for many types of multi-unit construction including mid and high-rise luxury apartments, senior and student housing, hospitality and resort projects.

    • Amy Kennedy

      Since joining Balfour Beatty in 2000, Amy has managed many of the Orlando office’s most prolific and sensitive projects. With a diverse project portfolio that includes hospitality, entertainment, multi-family and senior living facilities, she excels at successfully managing intricate, multi-phased projects from preconstruction through turnover. A passionate advocate for every client she serves, Amy consistently delivers quality, profitable, safe and timely projects for her clients.

    • Janice Lowery

      As controller for Balfour Beatty’s Florida operations, Janice is responsible for the accounting and budgetary oversight of the construction business. Throughout her career, she has worked in several construction industries and brings a breadth of construction industry knowledge with experience in development, residential, road building and commercial construction. A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Janice is a long-time member of CFMA and holds an MBA from Rollins College.

    • Scott Kimpel

      A veteran in his field, Scott brings a decorated, 30-year history delivering large, complex projects across the United States. As the local leader of Balfour Beatty’s operations in Tampa, Scott is focused on providing superior construction management services to our clients, bringing his strong relationships with the local subcontractor market and his proactive, hands-on approach to planning and execution.  Providing unmatched local knowledge in the Tampa area, his portfolio encompasses a variety of markets, from hospitality, entertainment to higher education, aviation to industrial and office. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Geological Sciences, Ohio State University.

    • Willis Milner

      Business Development Director

      As business development director, Willis works with leadership to establish and nurture relationships with our clients and partners across the Central Florida region. He supports strategic planning, client development and project pursuits and has been instrumental in the company’s success as one of the top general contractors in Orlando. As a community ambassador, Willis serves on the Board of Trustees for the Academy of Construction Technologies (ACT),  Board of Directors for the Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP) and the Orlando Economic Partnership’s Investor Relations Committee.

      As a project executive and 20 year Balfour Beatty veteran, Mike has unparalleled experience managing the day-to-day flow of multiple projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring a successful project completion. His diverse portfolio of work spanning multi-family, education, office, hospitality, government, entertainment, corrections and professional sports includes SeaWorld's Sesame Street, Orlando Magic Continuing Works and multiple projects for Osceola County.

    • Brian Prebenda

      Senior Vice President, Operations
      Relentless Ally since 1999

      Brian Prebenda joined Balfour Beatty 1998, holding roles of increasing responsibility, including his current role as vice president of operations. His project experience includes aviation, hospitality and theme park attractions. Brian also serves as vice chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Central Florida chapter and is a member of Leadership Orlando.

    • Scott Skidelsky

      President, Southeast

      As president of our Southeast operations, Scott Skidelsky is responsible for executive oversight, project acquisition and business growth. Scott has spent more than two decades in the construction industry in a wide variety of leadership positions, serving clients across the United States throughout his career. In addition, Scott is a Building Design + Construction “Forty Under 40” alumni.

    • Haley Smith

      As the marketing director, Haley oversees business acquisition, marketing and communications, future business planning and opportunity development for the Southeast region. A proud recipient of the 2018 H. Gordon Wyllie, MCR, Young Leader of the Year award and a Bridges to Prosperity alum, Haley personifies the spirit of a multi-faceted leader. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Belmont University.

    • Mila Smith

      As vice president of human resources, Mila Smith is a trusted advisor in terms of talent management, employee relations, change management and coaching. As a business partner and member of the local leadership team, Mila works with operations to develop strategies to build talented teams and create a best place to work culture. Mila supports national business initiatives including performance management, diversity & inclusion and HRIS system implementation. 

    • Don Rolfe

      Don Rolfe has been estimating for more than 25 years, and half of his career has been spent at Balfour Beatty. His experience spans K-12 and higher education, retail, public facilities, multifamily housing, entertainment venues and sports arenas. As chief estimator in the Orlando office, his wealth of experience and subcontractor relationships help produce effective estimating efforts.

      As project executive with more than two decades of experience, Kurtis oversees the construction management of numerous construction projects located throughout Central Florida. Building more than $800 million in local projects in his career, his "team player" approach maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations. Some of his most notable projects include the Lake Nona Wave Hotel and the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
