    • Scott Skidelsky

      President, Florida


      As President of our Florida operations, Scott Skidelsky is responsible for executive oversight, project acquisition and business growth. Scott has spent more than two decades in the construction industry in a wide variety of leadership positions, serving clients across the United States throughout his career. In addition, Scott is a Building Design + Construction “Forty Under 40” alumni.

    • John Harris

      Senior Vice President, Florida Business Unit Leader


      As senior vice president and Florida business unit leader, John creates and leads strategies in core markets and niche projects offering value-driven delivery strategies throughout the state. His many responsibilities include leading and supporting over 200-management employees through all stages of the project lifecycle – including client development, marketing, BIM services, pre-construction, and operations.

    • Bruce Capon

      Senior Vice President, Business Acquisition


      As leader of the business acquisition team in Florida, Bruce has nearly 30 years of industry experience and is responsible for estimating, preconstruction and marketing. His previous contributions as head of Florida’s estimating department, in addition to providing oversight for both the estimating and preconstruction teams, have been an invaluable asset.

    • Brian Prebenda

      Vice President, Operations


      Brian Prebenda joined Balfour Beatty 1998, holding roles of increasing responsibility, including his current role as vice president of operations. His project experience includes aviation, hospitality and theme park attractions. Brian also serves as vice chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Central Florida chapter and is a member of Leadership Orlando.

    • John Parker

      Vice President


      As vice president and design-build expert, John brings 26 years of design and construction management expertise to South Florida. John is leading the $780 million Broward County Convention Center Project, providing design and construction management oversight for the entire project. An innovative thinker and leader, he is relentlessly focused on identifying and mitigating risks, team leadership and providing solutions to ensure successful project delivery in 2023. John currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Construction Association of South Florida.

    • Chris Diaz

      Vice President, Safety Health and Environment


      In his role, Chris Diaz has overseen safety for many projects in theming, medical, residential, commercial, corrections, hospitality, education, heavy industrial, fuel distribution and co-generation power plants. He is a member of the Common Ground Alliance and leading an Industry-wide safety orientation and certificate program.

    • Mila Smith

      Vice President, Human Resources


      As vice president of human resources, Mila Smith is a trusted advisor in terms of talent management, employee relations, change management and coaching. As a business partner and member of the local leadership team, Mila works with operations to develop strategies to build talented teams and create a best place to work culture. Mila supports national business initiatives including performance management, diversity & inclusion and HRIS system implementation. Mila serves on the Board of Trustees for the Orlando Science Center.
       

    • Earnest DeLoach Jr.

      Vice President Legal


      As Division Counsel, Earnest is responsible for all legal affairs for the Florida operations including contracting matters and litigation management, and serves as the division's compliance officer. As a member of the Florida leadership team, Earnest functions as a strategic business partner in supporting Florida operations.
       

    • Dave Campbell

      Project Executive


      With over two decades of construction experience under his belt, Dave is a multi-faceted industry veteran in his field. As project executive, he oversees the construction management of numerous projects located throughout the Jacksonville area. Dave thrives on ensuring overall project success through all aspects of the project to ensure a seamless project delivery. A true community advocate, his local knowledge, long-standing relationships and success in the Jacksonville market help provide an exceptional value to his clients.

    • Craig Carder

      Operations Director


      Craig brings an impressive project portfolio and 42 years of experience to the team, with an emphasis on building large-scale projects in urban sites. As operations director, he manages the field supervision team that oversees subcontractor trades, deliveries, inspections and connections with the local utility and inspection entities. His unmatched expertise with site logistics planning, scheduling, safety as well as management of day-to-day construction activities contribute to the success of his projects.

    • Neal Earnest

      Operations Director


      As operations director, Neal oversees the construction management of numerous hospitality, multi-family, education, and entertainment projects located throughout Central Florida. A 20-year industry veteran, Neal excels at managing complex, multi-million dollar projects from preconstruction to turnover. Some of his most notable work includes Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

    • Jim Zupancic

      Operations Director


      After spending nearly two decades working in Construction Management, Jim's success can be seen leading some of South Florida's largest projects.  As an operations director, he excels at strategic planning, logistics, safety and managing the day-to-day operations on his jobsites successfully. His diverse skillset and local expertise ensures a strategic customer-driven approach is applied in executing his client's most complex projects.

    • Haley Smith

      Marketing Director


      As the marketing director, Haley oversees business acquisition, marketing and communications, future business planning and opportunity development for the Florida region. A proud recipient of the 2018 H. Gordon Wyllie, MCR, Young Leader of the Year award and a Bridges to Prosperity alum, Haley personifies the spirit of a multi-faceted leader. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Belmont University.

    • Willis Milner

      Business Development Director


      As business development director, Willis works with leadership to establish and nurture relationships with our clients and partners across the Central Florida region. He supports strategic planning, client development and project pursuits and has been instrumental in the company’s success as one of the top general contractors in Orlando. As a community ambassador, Willis serves on the Board of Trustees for the Academy of Construction Technologies (ACT),  Board of Directors for the Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP), and the Orlando Economic Partnership’s Investor Relations Committee.

    • Janice Lowery

      Controller


      As controller for Balfour Beatty’s Florida operations, Janice is responsible for the accounting and budgetary oversight of the construction business for the Florida Division. Throughout her career, she has worked in several construction industries and brings a breadth of construction industry knowledge with experience in development, residential, road building and commercial construction. A Pittsburgh Pennsylvania native, Janice is a long-time member of CFMA and holds an MBA from Rollins College.
