    • Casey Thompson

      Controller
      Relentless Ally since 2014

      As controller for Balfour Beatty’s operations, Casey is responsible for the accounting and budgetary oversight of the construction business for the Carolinas and Georgia. Casey has been a valued member of our team since 2014. A Georgia native, Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts in finance from the University of West Georgia. 

    • Chris Diaz

      Vice President, Safety Health and Environmental
      Relentless Ally since 2010

      In his role, Chris Diaz has overseen safety for many projects in theming, medical, residential, commercial, corrections, hospitality, education, heavy industrial, fuel distribution and co-generation power plants. He is a member of the Common Ground Alliance and leading an Industry-wide safety orientation and certificate program.

      As vice president of operations, David is responsible for providing operations leadership across all business units while maintaining a Relentless Ally focus on exceeding customer expectations. With nearly three decades of experience, David is a well-established leader with expertise in public and private sectors. 

    • Haley Smith

      Marketing Director
      Relentless Ally since 2007

      As the marketing director, Haley oversees business acquisition, marketing and communications, future business planning and opportunity development for the Southeast region. A proud recipient of the 2018 H. Gordon Wyllie, MCR, Young Leader of the Year award and a Bridges to Prosperity alum, Haley personifies the spirit of a multi-faceted leader. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Belmont University.

    • Jeff Sandeen

      Senior Vice President, Business Unit Leader
      Relentless Ally since 2014

      As Carolinas vice president and commercial business unit leader, Jeff provides a thorough understanding of all phases of the construction process from estimating, preconstruction, procurement, contracting and scheduling. He has a deep resume of large projects throughout the Southeast and significant experience solving clients’ LEED and small/disadvantaged business goals.

    • Martin Welton

      Business Development Director

      Business Development Director, Martin Welton, is a Carolina native with a natural connection to the heart and soul of the South. Martin holds over two decades of real estate experience and is a seasoned business developer with success in connecting prospective and current clients with solutions and results. Martin is responsible for constructing effective relationships with existing and potential owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

      Vice President, Human Resources
      Relentless Ally since 2005

      As vice president of human resources, Mila Smith is a trusted advisor in terms of talent management, employee relations, change management and coaching. As a business partner and member of the local leadership team, Mila works with operations to develop strategies to build talented teams and create a best place to work culture. Mila supports national business initiatives including performance management, diversity & inclusion and HRIS system implementation.

      Nick has spent his entire career with Balfour Beatty building a versatile and impressive portfolio of work. Nick has played an integral role in establishing Balfour Beatty’s reputation for exceptional service and operational excellence in the Charleston market. Nick holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
       

    • Scott Skidelsky

      President, Southeast
      Relentless Ally since 2012

      As president of our Southeast operations, Scott Skidelsky is responsible for executive oversight, project acquisition and business growth. Scott has spent more than two decades in the construction industry in a wide variety of leadership positions, serving clients across the United States throughout his career. In addition, Scott is a Building Design + Construction “Forty Under 40” alumni.
