Balfour Beatty Names Jason C. Tomasulo Mid-Atlantic Vice President of Legal
January 10, 2017
WASHINGTON –
Balfour Beatty has named Jason C. Tomasulo as vice president of legal and a member of its leadership team in the Mid-Atlantic. With nearly two decades of legal experience and construction industry expertise, Tomasulo is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
Tomasulo joins Balfour Beatty from the law firm Cohen Seglias in Philadelphia where he served as senior counsel to clients with a focus on construction law and government contracts. Prior to that, he served as general counsel for regional contractor Keating Building Corporation where he negotiated contracts, provided legal and risk management advice, and managed litigation. Before joining Keating, Tomasulo served as an attorney in the Washington, D.C. office of Thelen LLP and Smith Pachter McWhorter in Tysons Corner, Va.
"I am honored to join the team at Balfour Beatty, and have always been amazed by the construction process and how so many people come together to build such remarkable buildings and infrastructure,” said Tomasulo. “I love that when the project is complete, there is something tangible that will last for many years and improve people’s everyday lives. I appreciate the pride that the construction teams have for their projects and am awed by how much hard work goes into the process, from beginning to completion."
Tomasulo earned a J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College.
