WTOP News: Apartment building with rooftop resort coming to NoMa
February 25, 2016
WASHINGTON — Real estate developer Wood Partners has named Balfour Beatty Construction to build its new luxury apartment building in NoMa, within walking distance of Union Station and the U.S. Capitol.
The 13-story, 350-unit apartment building will include amenities such as a rooftop pool with resort-style cabanas and barbecue grilling stations, a dog park, a fitness center and a co-working space.
The building at 33 N Street in Northeast will include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, two-level suites and nine 400-square-foot “micro units.”
There will be ground level retail, most likely including a restaurant.
Demolition of an office building already at the address is underway.
Hickok Cole Architects designed the building. It is expected to be completed in the first half of 2018.
