Balfour Beatty Team Earns Safety Awards in North Carolina

Each year, the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL) honors private and public organizations that achieve and maintain good safety records in the workplace.

During a virtual awards ceremony, NCDOL recognized several Balfour Beatty US Civils Southeast region projects and operations for its exceptional safety performance.  

The awards were divided into two levels: gold, which is based on having no fatalities and days away, restricted rate below 50% of the industry average; and silver, which is based only on cases with days away from work.

Maysville Bypass Project - Fifth Consecutive Year Gold

Southeast Region Operations - Sixteenth Consecutive Year Gold

Equipment Yard - Fourteenth Consecutive Year Gold
