A commercial construction industry veteran, Tamara Yang is a visionary and passionate leader who champions the company’s people-first culture. Since joining Balfour Beatty in 2014, Tamara has played a vital role in advancing our national Learning and Development (L&D) programs for the US Buildings business.
In her role as Vice President of Organizational Development, Tamara aligns and develops the company’s operational policies, procedures and progressive learning and development programs to support evolving business strategies and objectives. Complementing her focus on learning and development, Tamara co-leads the US Buildings’ Diversity and Inclusion program, which focuses on minority, ethnic and gender diversity throughout all ranks and positions of the organization.
Prior to entering the construction industry, Tamara served 13 years in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, she holds a B.S. in Physics and a M.S. in Human Resources Management.
