• 350 volunteers join Balfour Beatty Construction for Sharefest's 10th annual Workday

  May 09, 2013 More than 350 volunteers joined Balfour Beatty Construction on Saturday, May 4, to repair and spruce up seven schools in the Redondo, Torrance, Culver City and Wiseburn School Districts as part of Los Angeles County’s 10th Annual Sharefest Workday.  An estimated $200,000  in school improvements were made – all at  no cost to the schools – by Balfour Beatty Construction employees, contractors, vendors, school staff, students, and community members.

• Luxury apartments in Atlanta's Midtown city block underway

  March 07, 2013 Residents and visitors of the Midtown city block in Atlanta, Georgia have seen dirt moving since early last December on 131 Ponce Midtown Apartments, a luxury apartment complex located adjacent to the historic Georgian Terrace Hotel and St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. Griffin Construction and C2 Contractors, has been selected as construction manager at-risk for North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s (NC A&T) new, state-of-the-art, 175,000-square-foot Student Union in Greensboro, North Carolina.
