Al Petrangeli joined the company in 1983 as Project Engineer on the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. Through more than 25 years of industry and career growth in Florida, Al progressed to take on senior levels of leadership and business oversight for Balfour Beatty Construction’s Florida business. In 2000, he was promoted to President of our Florida operations and in 2012 was appointed to his current role, as Division President for the company’s operations in Georgia.
In this role, Al is responsible for executive oversight, project acquisition, and business growth throughout the Georgia region. In addition, he serves as a senior member of the leadership team for the company’s East Region, serving to guide and direct business strategies and direction for the business’ regional growth.
Al holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from Spring Garden College in Pennsylvania. He serves on the Boards of Arete Scholarship Fund and Lifework Leadership and is an Advisory member of Vision360. He is past Chairman of 4KIDS of South Florida, George Snow Scholarship Foundation, and the Boca Raton, Florida Chamber of Commerce, as well as an Executive Committee member of Enterprise Florida.
