For the second year in a row, Balfour Beatty Construction employees rallied together to support a fellow employee in her son’s fight against brain cancer. In 2007, employees sold t-shirts and awareness bracelets to help raise funds for the National Brain Tumor Society. This year, employees took it further and aside from selling t-shirts, a bake sale was organized and all sales went towards Kyle’s team, “Kyle’s Krew,” in a 5K walk in Fort Worth, Texas. The National Brain Tumor Society is an organization that brings together the best of research and patient services to be a single, comprehensive resource for the entire brain tumor community – patients, families, caregivers, researchers, and medical professionals.
