Balfour Beatty Construction

Nashville

Nashville is the home of country music and also the home of Balfour Beatty Construction’s Healthcare Group. First opened more than 40 years ago, this office has enjoyed nationwide acclaim in the healthcare construction industry, working for clients like Vanderbilt University Medical Center for more than 30 years, and Mayo Clinic for more than 12 years. They have also constructed several downtown Nashville landmarks, such as the SunTrust Building, Palmer Plaza, the Renaissance Hotel and Music City Central Transit Center. They are known for retaining clients through stellar service, creating a “signature experience” for each client.

Community involvement is important to Nashville office employees. One of their favorite causes is the Hospital Hospitality House of Nashville (www.hospitalhospitalityhouse.org). Founded in 1974, this organization provides a home away from home for patients and caregivers seeking medical treatment in all Nashville hospitals, providing lodging, meals and other supportive services.

Balfour Beatty Construction’s equipment and transition planning group, Balfour Resource Group, is also headquartered in Nashville. Working with clients across the nation such as Cleveland Clinic, Children’s Hospital Colorado and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, Balfour Resource Group supports healthcare providers by providing planning services not typically offered by design or construction companies.
