Balfour Beatty Construction

Austin

The Austin office of Balfour Beatty Construction opened in 2000 on the strength of an existing client relationship and five eager staff ready to break new ground in the Capitol City. Those humble beginnings in Austin belie the tremendous success that would follow.

The Austin office quickly hit its stride in securing work for notable law and technology firms, data centers, healthcare and corporate office with a growing portfolio in education. With the strong support of Austin trade partners, the company racked up a series of impressive award-winning Interior projects and low to mid-rise shell construction – a combination that we call Special Projects.

Our expertise in low-impact, work-around situations during interior construction, combined with the core/shell resources of Balfour Beatty, make a compelling value proposition: “two specialties, one company.”

Our commitment to Austin and Central Texas extends to active engagement of the minority subcontracting community with leadership at the corporate level helping direct our local initiatives.
