Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

Balfour Beatty is proud to celebrate the contributions and influence of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community on culture and history during AAPI Heritage Month. This month, we are exploring why connecting with one's history is vital to our journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Follow along as members of our employee affinity group, REGAL (Reinforcing, Education and Guiding Asian Leaders), reflect on what AAPI Heritage Month means to them.

Building our Community

Caltrain Project Reaches Major Milestone

Chipping in for a good cause!

Our California civils teammates were proud to sponsor the recent Cal Poly Pomona golf tournament benefitting the Don Wells Scholarship. With nearly 15 alumni hired over the past several years, we are proud to continue supporting the next generation of construction leaders at Cal Poly Pomona!

Curtain Call!

Our Seattle team recently attended the Seattle Children's Theatre (SCT) 5th annual “Fueling Transformation” luncheon celebrating their programs, which empower young people while building a lifelong interest in the arts. The funds raised go towards transforming the lives of children in the community through theatre and theatre education.

Forsyth County Courthouse Modernized & Expanded

Balfour Beatty and joint venture partner Samet Corporation recently completed the 250,679-square-foot Forsyth County Courthouse, expanding the existing justice center by 50 percent. The modernized building features 18 judicial spaces, including courtrooms and hearing rooms, sized to functionally accommodate judicial staff and the public as needed. The judicial spaces are situated on the first three floors of the building and arrayed in double-loaded corridors to improve wayfinding and public access. The facility also features waiting areas specifically designed to provide open, daylit public spaces that lead into various courtrooms.
